"Running through the fields of wheat" was a quote used by Theresa May, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, to describe the naughtiest thing she ever had done in her life. May was being interviewed by the English newspaper, the Telegraph. She was asked by Kate McCann what was the naughtiest thing she ever done, May responded hesitantly stating "that no one is ever perfectly behaved, are they?" and soon settled on "I have to confess, me and my friends sort of used to run through the fields of wheat. The farmers weren't to please about that" as her answer. The answer was widely circulated on the Internet and was the subject of jokes by many comedians and television personalities.
